Step 1: Take one empty 500 ml water bottle and fill it with ¾ water and ¼ vegetable oil.
Step 2: Add a tiny drop of blue food coloring. Now you have ocean water in your bottle!
Step 3: To make it more fun, have your child help you add glitter and sequins for treasure and some ‘goggle eyes’ for fish eyes to the ocean water (you can find these at any craft shop) and any other additional props that will add more life to your ocean.
Step 4: Super glue the inside of the bottle cap before fastening in order to prevent any accidental leaks.
Step 5: Have your child give the bottle a good shake and let the exploring begin!
