Dr. Marianne N. Majdalani, MD, is a pediatrician at the American University of Beirut Medical Center where she is the Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Head of division of Pediatric Critical Care as well as being the vice-chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She is involved in clinical research with special areas of interest being ethics and spirituality in medicine.
Dr. Majdalani has won several awards for her teaching skills and is very involved in public lecturing to pediatricians in different regions of Lebanon. At the national level, she is an executive member in both the Lebanese Pediatric Society and the Union for Protection of the Lebanese Child.
She obtained her MD degree from the American University of Beirut after completing her undergraduate studies in chemistry at Utah State University. Dr. Majdalani trained in pediatrics at SUNY-Upstate New York then went on to do her subspecialty in Pediatric Critical Care at Cincinnati’s Children Hospital.
