If you’re suffering from postpartum hair loss, it’s possibly a result of vitamin deficiency.
To stop hair loss and get thicker and shinier hair, dietitian Jeanine Awad Al Jamil recommends eating the following:
-Salmon: Rich in vitamin D, protein, and omega 3, it helps hair growth by protecting your scalp.
-Yellow pepper: Rich in vitamin C, which means it’s an anti-oxidant that strengthens your hair follicles and protects them from breaking.
-Oysters: Rich in zinc and cadmium; the two elements responsible for strengthening and protecting the scalp.
-Eggs: An important source of omega 3 and biotin, especially egg yolk. Eat the yolk of 2-3 eggs a week to ensure a good balance of amino acids.
– Sunflower seeds: Rich in vitamin E, which accelerates hair growth.
-Sweet potato: Rich in vitamin A and beta carotene, which stimulate the scalps and make it healthier.
-Avocado: This fruit is rich in fatty acids which prevent hair loss. It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for healthy hair.
-Almond: Introducing raw almonds to your diet will accelerate hair growth and make it thicker, as it’s very rich in biotin.
