Bright Minds Institute Home Activity: Sound in a Bottle

Spread the love

Step 1: Take two empty 500 ml water bottles and fill one with cotton balls and the other one with dry pasta.

Step 2: Let your child explore with the different sounds and textures. Point out that one bottle makes a quiet sound and does not have much fluidity and the other water bottle makes a loud sound and can be shaken up and down with a lot of noise and movement from the pasta.

You can add different bottles with different substances (such as water, thick liquid soap, baby powder, etc.) from your bathroom and kitchen in order to highlight more differences between various textures and objects.
