Step 1: Find two objects that are the same and one object that is different to them. For example, two apples and a banana.
Step 2: Point to each object stating out loud his names. And then point to each object and slowly and clearly say “same” for each of the apples and say “different” when pointing to the banana. Repeat this two or three times.
Step 3: Ask your child if he can point to the object that is different and ask him why he made that choice.
