The Benefits of Exercise during Pregnancy

Practicing exercises, especially yoga during pregnancy helps improve blood cycle, build muscles and help you feel more energetic. It also teaches you to listen to your body, act smoothly, relax and strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.

Regular exercises build strong bonds with your baby and prepare you mentally, emotionally and physically for delivery. They also prevent you from gaining too much weight and your muscles from over relaxing, keeping you in good shape, and thus in good morale.

Exercise is good after giving birth; because it helps you restore your posture, regulate breathing, and get back in shape. Women who exercise during pregnancy were better and faster in restoring their pelvic floor muscles to pre-pregnancy levels. Exercise mitigates pregnancy signs and disorders, like nausea, vomiting, leg cramps, back pain, waist pain, constipation, digestive disorder and varicose veins. It also reduces the likelihood of C-Section and makes normal birth easier.
